One of my favorite strategy games that manage to bring fun through comedy into the relatively serious genre is Tropico! If you're a fan of strategy and city-builders in particular, and especially if you haven't tried this series before, give Tropico 5 a go. The pre-order on Steam gives you Tropico 4 for free as well, so you can get into the universe a month before it actually releases.
